We are three expert cybersecurity professionals who have over 40 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry, specializing in Red Teaming, DFIR, System Administration, Exploit Development, and Reverse Engineering.
Why did we make GFL?
We made GemForgeLabs to deliver what we believe is the best possible training for the lowest cost. We firmly believe that training does not have to be expensive or fancy.
We built a simple framework for developing training for both the developers of training and the students, ensuring a happy learning experience.
Our aim was to create fast-spawning practical labs with diverse play styles and subject matter, from DFIR to Red Teaming, so students can develop their entire skill set in one place.
The name Gem Forge Labs is the embodiment of our core mission: to forge gems out of every student who uses our training. We plan to offer training from basic Windows and Linux system administration through advanced exploit development, or a deep dive into forensic analysis of any system.
What are we aiming to do?
Our aim to to provide simple, affordable, bite-sized training at a fraction of the cost of the largest competitors.
We achieve this by providing the following:
- Minimizing the total clicks to get into a lab (from login, a minimum of 3 clicks)
- Simplifying the payment model (spawn hours are an easily understood unit)
- Minimizing popups and general annoyances (No AI chatbots here)
- Human support staff, if you ever require it
Our promises to you
- We will always provide the simplest user experience possible
- We will never sell your data
- We will always create the highest quality content
What the future holds?
We currently offer a gamified practical training platform to build your skill set, but in the future, we aim to expand our product range to cater to all learning styles.
We will be offering certifications with full written content to cover the theory side of cybersecurity. This will allow you to learn before hitting labs.
We also will be offering persistent large environments for those who require more in-depth training, such as threat hunting or red teaming. This will allow you to practice pivoting around and not being detected or investigating endpoints at scale.
